About US

As the presenting sponsor at the Kent Business Expo, GLS partnered with local non-profits KentHOPE and Northwest Harvest to collect and transport non-perishable food and household items such as paper towels, toilet paper, wipes, trash bags, socks and deodorant. The GLS team set up a donation booth for expo attendees and the local Kent & South Sound community to donate items to those in need. With an entire GLS van filled to the brim, the GLS Kent operations team delivered the donations to the non-profits after the expo.

International Parcel day 2019

GLS celebrates International Parcel Day in the United States! Our team partnered with Family Giving Tree to build and deliver backpacks for Bay area children in need. With 1 in 4 children in our community in poverty, Family giving Tree equips Bay Area students in low-income situations with the educational tools needed to succeed in the classroom. Each backpack built was filled with essential school supplies such as pencils, notebooks, folders, and much more. Learn how you can get involved.

Children Books

Did you know that 61% of families living in poverty lack books at home for their children? That’s why the GSO|GLS team hosted a book drive with the Children’s Book Bank at our corporate office. With a total donation of 150 books, our employees are supporting children to develop essential early literacy skills. Using GLS delivery services, the books were shipped to the Children’s Book Bank library located in Portland, Oregon. Find out how to donate your books.

International Parcel day 2018

The GSO team took part in its first ever international Parcel Day which is a day created by our parent company, GLS. To honor this annual event, we worked with San Franicsco-based organization, Project Night Night to assemble and deliver care packages for homeless children at a local bay area shelter. We love that we can utilize our delivery service to do something good for the community. Read More

Go Gray

The GSO team including our corporate office and various hubs, went gray on Friday, May 18th in support of brain tumor awareness month. We wanted to highlight some facts of this terrible disease while encouraging people to find events to join or donate in support of research for a cure. Several GSO team members participated in the Bay Area 5K Tumor Walk on June 24, 2018 in San Francisco.
You can visit the GSO LinkedIn page to see the team in gray. To stay informed about the fight against brain tumors, visit

GSO driver John McIntyre went out of his way to load up his truck and deliver food to some of the brave firefighters who battled the devastating Northern California Wildfires in October 2017. Learn more about fire safety and ways to help those in need.
